Donielle and the team from Designer Wardrobe recently sent an email out to all their customers alerting them to their new rental announcement. In the email they detailed the fact that their new iPhone App is almost finished, and is currently being tested by some members. They went on to say that Designer Wardrobe will soon have some new great improvements, and to make sure everything works as it should, these updates will happen on the website before the App is released.

As they explain in the email the Designer Wardrobe team are working on improving the way renting works on the website which will make it even easier for users to make extra dollars from the items they’re not wearing. They also detail their DW Rental Insurance which is included automatically with any rental listed on the Designer Wardrobe website.

They also reiterated that safety is a very important part of Designer Wardrobe so that when people rent their item out, the borrower pays Designer Wardrobe and they hold their customer’s earnings until the borrower has received the item. As they explain, this gives members a lot more trust and confidence, which means items will be much more likely to be rented out.

The email went on to clarify that to make the renting experience as easy and safe as possible for all members they will be required to use DW Shipping Kits instead of sending it themselves. Their Shipping Kits even include a Return Bag so that the borrower can get the item back safely.

Listing an item for rent will always be free and if someone successfully rents their item after February 1st 2016, they will keep 80% of their rental earnings with no extra fees. These fees go towards improving the service Designer Wardrobe provide as they continue to grow a fantastic Kiwi company.

A few other things that were noted in the email were dry-cleaning, explaining that as clients know their item best, they should handle the dry-cleaning themselves after the return of an item and should add extra to their rental fee to cover this. Also, people are asked to make sure that each listing is only renting a single item.

These and more changes all took effect after the 1st of February, so to learn more about these changes they should go to http://www.designerwardrobe.co.nz .
