LINWOOD PARK ANNOUNCES 2016 STUD FEES

Cambridge-based Linwood Park Stud Limited has announced its service fees for the 2016 breeding season.

Proven sire Ekraar will stand at a fee of $10,000 plus gst and will once again represent great value for broodmare owners.

His progeny are still very popular with buyers as evidenced at last week's National Broodmare, Weanling and Mixed Bloodstock Sale at Karaka.

A weanling colt by Ekraar from She's Remarkable was sold for a very good return of $50,000 at the Karaka sale.

Ekraar is the sire of the Group 1 winners Rising Romance, Shez Sinsational, Ekstreme and Habibi and keeps producing the winners year-in, year-out.

Impeccably-bred Echoes Of Heaven will be standing at a fee of $6000 plus gst. He is an Encosta de Lago stakes-winning half-brother to the champion sire Redoute's Choice.

Echoes Of Heaven made an encouraging start with his first racetrack runners this season. He gained instant success with the win by The Duke Of Jazz at the Wanganui meeting. His progeny have turned plenty of heads.

Giant's Steps, who began stud duties at Linwood Park last year with a quality book of mares, will stand at a fee of $5000 plus gst.

Giant's Steps is closely related to Ekraar and Hussonet and is a dual Group 1 winner and the winner of six races. 

He is a son of champion sire Giant's Causeway (six times Gr. 1 winner) who is the best son of Storm Cat and one of the best sires in the world.
