Argent Motor Lodge Celebrates Ice Age with Facebook Giveaway

Argent Motor Lodge is celebrating the highly anticipated appearance of “Ice Age Live: A Mammoth Show on Ice” by giving away a VIP double pass to the show at Hamilton’s Claudelands Arena.
The winner will also be treated to a free night’s accommodation in one of Argent Motor Lodge’s studio apartments.
Argent Motor Lodge is an award-winning motel in the heart of Hamilton, conveniently located on Lorne Street, right next to Waikato Hospital. It has won numerous awards, including the 2016 TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice™ award for Hotels - the highest honour given by TripAdvisor.
“Ice Age Live! A Mammoth Show on Ice” is an ice-skating spectacular, showing at Hamilton’s Claudelands arena from 27th to 29th May 2016.
Co-directed by Guy Caron and Michael Curry (Cirque du Soleil), the show is a chance for children to be amazed at the ice-skating and acrobatic skill of a live show, based on the much-loved Ice Age movies, featuring the famous Scat and his friends Sid, Manny, Diego, as well as new characters, including baby mammoth Peaches.
With music and lyrics by Ella Louise Allaire and Martin Lord Ferguson, the show includes ice skating, aerial arts, puppetry and film.
Graeme Hunt, owner of Argent Motor Lodge say’s there’s a buzz going around Hamilton as the anticipation for the show builds.
“There are a lot of excited children around at the moment,” says Graeme. “We’re lucky in Hamilton to have so many quality shows and events.
“From what I’ve heard, the Ice Age show is extremely well done and very entertaining for adults as well as children.
“Here at Argent we’re looking forward to making someone feel special with VIP seats at the show and having them as our guest for a night in a studio apartment.”
