Carats take their inspiration from nature, architecture and life to create their truly unique jewellery collections, opening people’s eyes to the vast possibilities of design. They also make to order and their bespoke creations translate their clients’ requirements into a very special reality.

The jewellers at Carats have a very distinctive style, creating jewellery that is quite unlike anything else available in the high street shops, fashioning bold, colourful and conceptual designs, while at the same time, appreciating that some of their clients prefer a more subtle, traditional and elegant style.

Carat’s jewellers have all been trained in the finest tradition of English jewellery design, refining the skills and techniques passed down through several generations and have reinvented with their distinct New Zealand flavor. In other words, there is nothing in their store that is computer generated. They are also very aware of the fact that not everyone has a generous budget, so they work closely with each client to create the best piece of jewellery within their budget, without compromising on quality.

Using two of Auckland’s leading independent valuation companies, namely Gemlab and Jewellery Valuers Company, Carats are happy to arrange valuations, even on jewellery not produced by them, to ensure that their clients’ jewellery collections are covered in the event of any losses. In the case of lost, stolen or damaged jewellery Carats will work closely with their client and their insurance company to ensure that their jewellery is replaced. This service includes designing new and bespoke jewellery, or selecting one of the many pieces in their collections.

All Carats jewellery is made in their Vulcan Lane store in Auckland’s fashion central. Carats has been located in this area since 1996 offering the highest quality jewellery backed by their lifetime guarantee, and are committed to the principles and terms of the Kimberley Process. This is a joint international initiative designed to certify the origin of rough diamonds from sources which are free of conflict.

For all of these reasons, it’s time to head to Vulcan Lane to discuss that next special piece of jewellery. For further information please visit the website at http://www.carats.co.nz
