Just Water has moved its Head Office and Bottling Plant to new premises in Hugo Johnston Drive. Having purchased the building in September 2015, and they gutted the premises, building a state-of-the-art building and bottling plant. “It has taken a year to get the full resource consents and building consent to get the job done,” said Tony Falkenstein, Chief Executive of Just Water International Ltd, “but the results are outstanding”.

The new office is open plan, with a large recreational facility and separate meeting rooms and massage room on the first floor, and a masseuse comes into the offices twice a week to massage out the aches and pains of Just Water’s team who are sitting at a computer all day. A 75-inch TV screen comes out from the wall, and is used for training, as well as watching important sports games!

Just Water is well known as a progressive ‘people’ company, and at Just Water gender is not an issue, with over half the management team being female. “We tend to talk about ‘diversity’ in terms of age and race”, said Tony Falkenstein. “We have been poor here, but recently hired 26 year old Katie Hirst to the senior management team, and are putting emphasis on young people to become leaders within the Company”.

To this end, last month Tony took two ‘under-25’s’ to Shanghai to work at a Trade Show the company attended there, and every three months, Just Water has a ‘Breakfast Club’ for the ‘under-30’s’, where they get together with the CEO and COO to tell them how the Company could perform better. Tony has always been at the forefront of looking after his team and the fabulous new premises gave him more opportunities to continue in this vein.

Just Water is a publically listed Company, and is the nation’s largest water cooler company, so for more information on Just Water and their water fountains, please visit the website at http://www.justwater.co.nz .
