The award-winning Hotel, Paihia Beach Resort & Spa, has once again demonstrated why they are leaders in Social Giving by donating to Totara Hospice Annual Long Lunch Event.
“It is really vital for us to give back to the community,” says Lyndsey Morrison, Manager of Paihia Beach Resort and Spa.
Totara Hospice South Auckland needs to raise $3.8 million every year to provide free services to individuals and families in the South Auckland area who suffering from Terminal Illness. “To do this, Totara Hospice is hosting a Charity event on Sunday 16 October at the Bluestone Room, Auckland Central to help raise the much needed funds. We have helped by donating a prize for their auction,” adds Lyndsey.
This high end annual event of wine and food is ideal for all kiwi food lovers. The event hosted by premier comedian Michele A’Court and Chef Ben Barton will be serving a delicious nine course luncheon with wines to match. This is followed up with a live auction with all funds raised on the day going to Totara Hospice in South Auckland.
“We are donating a luxury accommodation package that will be auctioned on the night,” says Lyndsey.
