Armstrong Motor Group has broken ground on a multi-million-dollar dealership rebuild at the current site of Armstrong Nissan at 340 High Street, Lower Hutt.

Once completed in quarter three of 2019 the site will triple the current amount of showroom space and alongside Nissan, will also become the new home of Peugeot and Citroen for the Wellington region, allowing for a dedicated Subaru showroom at the current Railway Avenue site.

“The 2-million-dollar overhaul of the entire facility is a result of the increasing growth of the Lower Hutt and Wellington region and demonstrates our commitment to providing the best experience to our local customers”, said Rick Armstrong, Managing director of Armstrong Motor Group. “Once completed, the renovation is expected to create an extra ten new full-time jobs for the Lower Hutt region”.

‘Future proofing’ the new dealership complex is also a priority, with multiple electric vehicle charging stations being installed and the latest Nissan international showroom designs chosen for the rebuild.

All sales, service and parts operations at the current Armstrong Nissan location are fully operational during the rebuild.
