Police search for accident victim

A man is lucky to be alive after driving off the road near Masterton.

A male called Police after his vehicle was involved in an accident and he found himself trapped upside down in his over turned vehicle, with two broken legs and unsure where he was.

Police received the call at 3am and searched for the man for 30 minutes as he was confused and did not know where the accident had happened.

He was eventually located in Paierau Rd Masterton.

The male was taken to hospital for treatment.
