Traffic accident may bring power lines down

Minor Injury Accident: A Car has hit a Power Pole in Blenhiem at about 5.45 this evening.

Power lines are close to coming down at the scene of the acccident.

Police have therefore closed the road untill the problem is fixed.

The location of the accident is State High way 1, Blenheim at the cross roads of SH1 and Aberharts Road.

Diversions are in place at Dillons Point road and Vickermans Road
