Graduates of the First Chapters – Ng Whanga Tuatahi writing programme will celebrate and reflect on their achievements at The Sir Edmund Hillary Library in Papakura on Wednesday 18 June.

Formerly known as Writer in Manukau Libraries (WIML), this successful programme provides the opportunity for would-be and emerging local writers to receive one-on-one coaching from an established, successful author.

Members of the media are invited to attend the graduation event and hear James talk about his First Chapters experience. Some of the graduating writers will present readings of their work.
