Flooding in Christchurch

Motorists are cautioned to take extreme care on roads both in Christchurch City and those on surrounding areas.

With heavy rain - countless roads and streets have surface water. High Tides occuring at 0030hrs are causing rivers to back up.

The ChCh City Council have closed the roads on the Beckenham Loop and it is hoped that houses will not be flooded.
