NORTH SHORE CITY

Police are searching for a missing 75 year old patient from North Shore Hospital, he is:
Momohanga SOLOMON, who normally resides in Helensville.

He had been in Hospital for a pneumonia related condition and was seen wandering off just before 4-30pm this afternoon. Medical staff say he is likely to be disorientated.

Police are asking North Shore residents within a 2 kilometre radius of the hospital to search their properties and for everyone to keep an eye out for Mr SOLOMON who is described as Maori, thin build, approximately 5'7' tall and with long greying hair tied in a ponytail. He was wearing blue jeans, black boots and cream/grey patterned cardigan.

It is possible he has taken shelter somewhere from the foul weather. There are naturally concerns for his safety.
