COROMANDEL

Just 10 weeks to go until the 8th Casio Coromandel Classic takes us all on another great adventure through the Coromandel Ranges. Casio continues their title sponsorship along with Thermatech, who will once again provide every competitor with a thermal sports top.

Without the support of the sponsors the Casio Coromandel Classic would be quite a different event, and this year, thanks to Leppin Sport the first 100 entries will receive a Leppin Endurance pack worth $100!!! While entries are double what they were at the same time last year, there are still a few packs to be taken before we reach the magic 100 mark.

As usual, entries are made up of around 25% individuals and 75% teams, with the social side of the event and the catered dinner (all part of the entry price) on Saturday night proving part of the winning formula. Many of the team members then head to a local Tairua pub to enjoy a bit of NPC Rugby or Tri Nations on the big screen, while most individuals will be back at their accommodation preparing for Day Two.

For those still planning to enter, the entry fee goes up at the end of the month, so if you want to take advantage of the early bird pricing, now is the time to do it!
