NZU21 Team named

The Emerging Talent panel today named the NZU21 team to play against the Australian U21 side as the curtain raiser match prior to the Silver Ferns vs Australia on 17 September.

NZU21 coach Yvette McCausland-Durie said playing against the Australian U21 side was a great opportunity to expose more of the squad to international play.

“The opportunity for players to get this international experience is crucial for us. With only 11 months until the World Youth Cup we are mindful of the need to assess players internationally before we make final squad selections at the conclusion of the Perry Foundation National Championships in September,” she said.
