CanTeen First to Benefit from Partnership.

Newly crowned Indy Racing Champion and Indy 500 winner Scott Dixon has joined the Repco New Zealand team to undertake a number of promotional/marketing initiatives in the coming months.

The first will involve Dixon and Repco selling the Scott Dixon designed bandannas in October in all 80 Repco stores throughout the country. Funds raised will help CanTeen the only New Zealand charity supporting 13-24yr olds living with cancer.

Dixon says he is delighted to be able to work with Repco to raise funds for CanTeen.

“I have been very fortunate to be able to pursue a career in a sport that I am passionate about and the success I have enjoyed this year off and on the track makes me appreciate how lucky I have been. The reality though is that there are many young people who face a much tougher battle with cancer. If through my association with Repco we can help raise funds together for CanTeen, then that’s fantastic.”

Colin Daly, General Manager Repco New Zealand said “Having Scott on-board is great news for Repco New Zealand. The success he has enjoyed this year is a great example of what dedication and hard work can achieve and we look forward to working with him. I know the teams at our Repco stores are determined to sell as many Scott Dixon-designed bandannas as they can to help raise funds for CanTeen.”

CanTeen Marketing Manager Brad Clark believes the involvement of Repco and Scott Dixon will provide a significant boost to the Bandanna Challenge in October.

“This is our key fundraising campaign and having Repco and Scott’s support will help raise awareness and drive sales. This will enable us to fund greater levels of activity for the young people we support throughout the country.”

The distinctive red and grey Scott Dixon bandannas will be available from all Repco stores on Thursday 9 October and are only $4 each.
