Do you love Lake Taupo?

Taupo and Turangi i-SITE Visitor Information Centres have been part of the –‘I love Lake Taupo’ national domestic marketing campaign initiated and developed by Destination Lake Taupo. Their involvement has included selling package deals such as the Ultimate Family Pass and a very successful Mates Rates programme.

They have now taken their involvement to the next level by placing the campaign slogan – ‘I Love Lake Taupo – so take a break New Zealand’ on a t-shirt for their summer uniform. With a busy summer season anticipated they are offering an opportunity for all locals to purchase these t-shirts. What an opportunity to get behind welcoming all our visitors with pride.

A local operator is printing the t-shirts and a $1 donation per shirt is being donated to the Maori Women’s Refuge. The donations will help some of our local underprivileged children have a better Christmas. If you would like to donate anything to their auction it is being held on 22nd November.
