Funeral for Morgan SAXTON

The funeral for Morgan Saxton, who died in a helicopter accident at Wanaka on Saturday the 1st of November, will be held at the Wanaka Airport at 1.30pm on Wednesday the 12th of November 2008.

Via the Police, the family have asked for discretion and respect from the media with respect to filming of the immediate family of Morgan Saxton.

A predetermined area has been designated outside the hanger for media purposes of those attending. The service itself is for friends, family and invited guests only.

Sergeant Aaron Nicholson will be at the Airport to coordinate and liaise with any media interested in attending.

'Clearly this will be an occasion of high emotion and the family and Police would like to ensure that no incident occurs that could mar the proceedings,' Nicholson said.

'The media are asked to respect the family's wishes at this difficult time.'
