Chemical Spillage - East of Morrinsville, SH27

Due to a chemical spillage following a two truck crash on State Highway 27 a section of that highway will be closed for a period of time.

Motorists travelling North on SH27 in the vicinity of Tatuanui (East of Morrinsville) will be diverted onto SH26 and Number Seven Road before rejoining Sh27 via Number Two Road, motorists travelling South will reverse order.

Both truck drivers suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash.
