Multiple Vehicle Collision on Northern Motorway, 6:00pm 21 Jan 2009

Three separate collisions occured on the Northern Motorway ( southbound) on the Constellation Drive onramp within minutes of each other. Up to 14 cars were involved as motorists failed to appreciate what was occurring along that stretch of the road.
There were no injuries sustained by any persons and the road was partially blocked during this time.
Tow trucks are currently on site awaiting the dispatch of the damaged vehicles involved.
The road is now fully open to traffic
