Taupo Lakers featuring this Sunday

Don’t miss the Unison Taupo Lakers live this Sunday night on TV2 at 7.30pm, battling it out to be named the Top Town in the country.

 

The Unison Lakers will be up against Motueka and Oamaru to see who will go through to the semi finals. This is the third show out of eight.

 

Councillor Mich’eal Downard said that it will be well worth watching this Sunday night. “It’s a very entertaining show but underneath all the fun and laughter the competition was extremely fierce. Motueka in particular had a number of elite athletes, including an Olympian and Coast to Coast champion, so they were very focussed on wiping out all competition. I think Taupo will be proud of the way their team participated with every member of the team giving it their all, and there are sure to be some laughs along the way.”

 

Naming sponsors of the Taupo Lakers, Unison are also looking forward to seeing how the team goes. Customer Relations Manager, Danny Gough said “Top Town is a great community event and we jumped at the chance to support Taupo’s team and to get involved with this iconic New Zealand competition. We can’t wait to see how the team gets on.”
