Two confirmed dead in hang glider crash in Queenstown

Police can confirm that 2 people are deceased as a result of a hang glider crash near Queenstown, being the commercial pilot and his passenger.
The passenger was a member of a volunteer fire brigade who was in Queenstown on a conference.
Both deceased's are male but their details will not be released until next-of-kin have been notified.
The Civil Aviation Authority has also been advised and will be attending the scene.
Enquiries into the cause of the crash are continuing.
