Nominations close for Onewhero/Tuakau Community Board By-Election

Two candidates have been nominated for the Onewhero/Tuakau Community Board by-election, which is due to be held on Wednesday 29 April. A by-election is required following the death of Brian Fife late last year.
Candidates are:
HENDERSON, Stephanie
HILL, Barry William
A postal ballot to the 5,500 Onewhero/Tuakau community electors will commence on Tuesday 7 April when voting documents are delivered.
Voting documents can be returned by post or hand delivered to the Franklin District Council’s Administration Office (82 Manukau Road, Pukekohe) or to the Tuakau Library (George Street, Tuakau) from Tuesday 7 April. The electoral officer must receive all votes by noon, Wednesday 29 April.
A person can apply to enrol as either a residential or ratepayer elector up to and including Tuesday 28 April – the day before the close of voting.
