NZ v India Test updates

New Zealand non-playing squad members Jeetan Patel and Brent Arnel will be released from the BLACKCAPS today to play in State Championship matches starting on Friday. Northern Districts representative Jonathan Boult will fulfill 12th man duties.

Match officials have advised that lights will not be available for use in the current Test series. The series playing conditions allow for the use of lights where available (Seddon Park, Hamilton and McLean Park, Napier), but only if agreed by the teams. New Zealand and India teams have indicated they prefer not to use them, and have agreed with match officials that lights will not be used for the duration of the series.
