SAR Land Rescue in Northland

The Police Search and Rescue Squad are presently involved in a land rescue operation in the far north by Whangamumu. A party of three comprising of two teenagers and an adult have become disoriented whilst walking the track. They contacted police at 4.00pm to advise that they were lost. Police are aware of the severe weather warnings for the far north and expect to be with the party within the next 4 hours.
