2 injured in Tauranga crash

7:45pm 14 May 2009 - Police are in attendance at a car v car crash on the intersection of Tauranga West road and Esdaile Road, Whakamarama. 2 persons are injured, one of them serious. The Serious Crash Unit from Tauranga is attending the scene.
There is a diversion in place via Esdaile Road, but it is a long diversion on a dificult road and police recommend drivers delay or avoid the area altogether if possible.
