Bus rolls on Milford road - one in critical condition

Emergency services are currently attending a serious crash involving a bus that is believed to have rolled on the Te Anau-Milford Highway, State Highway 94, near Te Anau Downs which is between Te Anau and Milford Sound.
Ambulance Southern Communications Centre has dispatched two helicopters to the scene in addition to their local crews attending. It is too early to release information as to the number or extent or injuries, but at least one person is believed to be in a critical condition.
Te Anau police are urging motorists to take extreme care while driving on that section of State Highway due to the treacherously icy road conditions this morning.
