Yealands Estate Appoints National Sales Manager in Australia

Yealands Estate has appointed Andrew Thiele to the new role of National Sales Manager managing the Australian market.

The winery has had considerable success in the Australian market since securing distribution via Strategic Wines and Spirits in July 2008, one month before Yealands Estate officially opened in August 2008 and Young and Rashleigh In November 2008.

Andrew brings to Yealands Estate a significant amount of in-market knowledge having spent 27 years in the Australian wine industry. He has held State Management roles for Constellation Wines (and when it was Hardy Wine Company) in New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and ACT. Andrew also held an International role as Vice President Trading, North America - Hardy Wine Company, based in the US.

Andrew is excited to join a team that is dedicated to Peter Yealands vision of making world-class wines in a sustainable manner. He will be responsible for working with importers, distributors and wholesalers and supporting their sales teams.

Peter Yealands says Andrews experience puts the company in a strong position to continue to grow brand presence and market share in Australia.
