MASTERTON

AWARD-WINNING INTERNATIONAL CRIME WRITER LINWOOD BARCLAY TO VISIT  MASTERTON PAPER PLUS FOR SPECIAL VIP NIGHT

Award-winning Canadian crime writer Linwood Barclay is visiting Masterton on Tuesday 28 July to chat about his latest book and give guests the opportunity to have a copy of his book signed. Russell Carthew from Paper Plus Masterton invites the community to attend the evening event and enjoy a glass of bubbly while talking with Linwood about favourite reads.

Author of No Time For Goodbye and Too Close To Home, Linwood Barclay is the recent winner of the Arthur Ellis Award, Canada’s top crime-writing honour. In Linwood’s latest book Fear The Worst, he tells the story of a father who begins searching for his missing daughter after she fails to return from work, only to discover that no one knows of her and that the hometown he thought of as perfectly ordinary has a darker side.

Russell says the evening will be a celebration of great reading and a chance for the guests to chat about their favourite books with a celebrated author while relaxing with a glass of bubbly.

The event will be held at Paper Plus Masterton from 6pm. Entry to the VIP night is complimentary, and tickets can be picked up from Paper Plus Masterton. Guests will be treated to sumptuous nibbles and a glass of bubbles.

Avid readers are also invited to log on to the Paper Plus website, where Paper Plus books spokesperson Kerre Woodham shares her thoughts on her preferred latest books in the Paper Plus Book Club online discussion forum. The Paper Plus Book Club gives readers the opportunity to review books they love, add comments to other reviews and receive special book offers.
