The Hawke’s Bay Regional Council’s next Unwanted Agrichemical collection will be held from 17-19 August 2009.
The Regional Council will collect your unwanted agrichemicals from your house or farm and dispose of them safely.
Fred King, Hazardous Waste Officer for the Regional Council, said the collection is a chance for farmers and individuals to get rid of agrichemicals that may be damaged, banned, or just unwanted and stored in the shed.
“Just contact the Regional Council on 0800 108 838 and we’ll come and dispose of them safely and easily.”
