RoadCraft K2 - Challenge to the South Islanders

The RoadCraft K2 is the toughest one day cycle challenge in the Southern Hemisphere. It is also one of the most scenic and varied with the route travelling through sub tropical forest, pacific coastlines, rural farmland and the Puhutakawa coast line of the Hauraki Gulf. This years race marks the 7th anniversary of the RoadCraft K2.

The Orca K1 is a challenging course with the 3 of the 7 K2 category hills included in the race.
This years Orca K1 will give riders a taste of both coastlines with stage 1 following the stunning Puhutakawa Coastline followed by the highest ascent on the course, the Kopu-Hikuai hill.
2009 marks the 4th anniversary of the Orca K1.

Or, for the recreational cyclist – try the K2 Relay (2-4 person relay) or the Quarter K (43 kms).

Its time to show some South Island muscle at this northern event...
