Name release of crash victim

The name of a driver who died as the result of a fatal car crash yesterday evening on Lineside Road is Caleb William CHURCH aged 19 year of Rangiora.

Sergeant Rene Pabst says Mr Church was the sole occupant of a NW bound vehicle around 5pm on Sunday 19 July when it appears he crossed to the wrong side and hit a four wheel drive vehicle coming from the other direction head on.   His death will be referred to the Coroner.
