Peoples Choice NetGuide Awards

Stuff.co.nz continues to be New Zealand’s favourite news website and has once again picked up several categories at the prestigious People’s Choice NetGuide Awards including best media site and best homepage, as well as being finalist for site of the year, best mobile site and best new site, relaunch or innovation.

"It was thrilling to win best media site this year, particularly in a reader's choice award in which more than 130,000 people voted," Stuff.co.nz Editor Mark Stevens said.

Fairfax Media’s Group Head of Digital, Stephen Smith says that Fairfax Digital are pleased to have a lasting relationship with the NetGuide awards.

Stuff.co.nz has previously won Best Media Site in 2008, 2007, 2006, 2004, 2003 & 2002, Site of the Year in 2008 and Best Homepage in 2008 & 2007.

The award ceremony was a big night for Fairfax, not only picking up best media site and best homepage, but were also the proud sponsors of the travel category and were pleased to provide the winner houseoftravel.co.nz with a $10,000 advertising package on Stuff.co.nz to celebrate their achievement.
