New Zealand coffee connoisseurs will now be able to feel like they have their favourite barista at home thanks to OTTO, an uber-chic stove top espresso maker.

OTTO, nicknamed ‘the little guy’’, is the modern day interpretation of the classic Italian Atomic stove top espresso maker. The very stylish espresso machine proves to all coffee lovers and design enthusiasts that exceptional style and functionality can combine to create the ultimate in espresso makers.

OTTO has been five years in the making, but the meticulous engineering and craftsmanship has paid off with ‘the little guy’ receiving the Australian International Design Mark and also being placed as a finalist in the International Design Excellence Awards.

The creative mastermind behind OTTO is entrepreneur Craig Hiron, a roof tiler by trade who dabbled in the Australian film industry. Craig was looking for a new challenge when he took on the idea of reinventing the classic Atomic.

“We’re thrilled with the final product. Not only does OTTO look incredible but the stove top design ensures its reliability and longevity. And, most importantly, the coffee is sure to impress the fussiest coffee drinker!” said Craig.

OTTO is sold at Atomic Coffee Roasters in Kingsland, Auckland (420C New North Rd, Kingsland). The great people at Atomic also provide training on how to use your new ‘little guy’.

You can also get your hands on ‘the little guy’ from Caffe L’Affare in Wellington (27 College St).

OTTO RRP is NZ$875, visit www.ottoespresso.com for further information.
