Auckland Prison Incident - Charges Laid

North Shore Police say a male inmate has been charged as a result of an incident at Auckland Prison, Paremoremo, on 27 August 2009.

Charges of Kidnapping, Assault with a weapon and Threatening to kill, have all been laid in the North Shore District Court.

The 28 year old is expected to make his first appearance on these charges on Friday 18 September 2009.
