New LED Strobes Ideal For Extended Use

Companies and contractors who need to run warning strobe lamps for extended periods at a time should be using LED technology according to automotive lighting specialist NARVA.

Not only do LED strobe lights consume much less power than ordinary bulbs, they also last considerably longer, making them ideal for prolonged use on hazardous machinery, forklifts trucks, work vehicles and service crews.

And they don’t come any more durable and cheaper to run than the new NARVA Guardian LED Strobe lights, which have just been introduced to the New Zealand market.

The new low cost 12-80 Multi-Voltage LED Amber Strobe lights bring with them a host of advantages together with high performance.

With a low current draw of only 0.2 Amp, low radio interference and a light output equivalent to a 60 candela traditional strobe, they are proving ideal for applications requiring long-term continuous use. With no filament to break, there is a strong resistance to vibration and a three-year LED NARVA Warranty provides peace of mind in safety conscious operations. The low interference feature makes them ideal where RF pick systems are in use.

Two models are available, both featuring Quad flash patterns that provide a solid illumination by comparison with the standard strobe light. There is a flange mount version for permanent mounting, plus another with a magnetic base and 2.5 metres of spiral lead, including a cigarette lighter type plug making it suitable for a variety of applications.

Guardian LED strobes are ideal for materials handling operations such as forklifts, stacker trucks etc and are well priced.
