Man charged after attempted murder

Acting Detective Inspector David Long says that a 28 year old man has been charged with Attempted Murder regarding the incident in Gould Crescent.

He will be appearing at the Christchurch District Court on Saturday 14 November.

The victim's condition has improved but remains in a critical condition.

There will be no further media releases regarding this incident.
