Plantation fire causes delays

There is a pine plantation on fire on Hamurana Rd, Rotorua which runs around the top of Lake Rotorua. The raod is still open but but reduced to one lane and there will be traffic delays. It is expected it may take a least two hours to get the fire under control due to strong winds. Can you advise traffic to avoid the area unless necessary
