Police still searching for missing man from Mt Eden

Police inquiry staff and Search and Rescue members are recommencing their search for 77 year old Stephen Dixon who has been missing from his Mt Eden address since 3pm yesterday.

Mr Dixon, a male Maori, is described as 183cm tall and of solid build. He is believed to be wearing a dark blue coloured sweatshirt, blue t-shirt with red horizontal stripes,dark coloured pants, tan shoes, a black peaked cap and will be wearing dark sunglasses. He has thinning dark hair and grey sideburns.

Mr Dixon walks with a slight stoop and is believed to be in the Auckland central area

He has a distinctive mark above his left eye.

Members of the public are encouraged to contact Police straight away with any possible sightings of him.
