Fatal crash SH1 Matawhanagarei

Police and emergency services are presently at the scene of a fatal motor vehicle crash State Highway 1 Mata, Whangarei District. One person is confirmed deceased. There appears to be only one vehicle involved in this matter, details are still coming in. 3 other persons have been taken to hospital. State Highway 1 is down to one lane and may be closed by the Serious Crash Unit for forensic examination.
