Woman assaulted and car stolen

Wellington Police are urgently seeking the assistance of the public in locating the following vehicle. A white coloured 2008 model BMW Coupe 135I with the personalised plate of BMW998. This vehicle has been stolen from address in Newlands in the last hour. The female owner was seriously assaulted prior to the vehicle being stolen.

Anyone seeing this vehicle or knowing its' where-abouts are asked to contact the police immediately. They should not attempt to approach the driver who should be considered dangerous.
