Police are in attendance at a multi vehicle fatal motor accident on State Highway 4, Manunui in Ruapehu District. The location of the crash is 1 kilometre south of the intersection with State Highway 41.
Diversions around the crash scene are: State Highway 47 at National Park and State Highway 41 at Turangi to Taumaranui.
Police will advise when the road closure is lifted. This is likely to be much later this morning.
