New Zealand National Agricultural Fieldays are pleased to confirm the sponsors for the 2010 Fieldays Premier Feature ‘Innovation for future profit’.
Hamilton based automation specialists; Dairy Automation Limited will join biological fertiliser experts; Outgro Bio-Agricultural Limited, in supporting this year’s topical theme.
Both sponsors saw a natural alignment with this year’s Fieldays Premier Feature focus. ‘Innovation for future profit’ recognises New Zealand’s ground-breaking approach to all aspects of farming and agriculture. It celebrates the results of our country’s leading agri-technology and the ability to adapt and even thrive in a challenging economic environment. The theme endorses New Zealand farmers as astute businessmen, pioneering efficient methods to maximise gross production and in turn, gross profit.
Dairy Automation Limited (DAL) is a progressive Waikato company supplying innovative and cost effective automation solutions to the New Zealand dairy industry. Dairy Automation General Manager, Simon Thompson elaborates;
“National Fieldays is always high on our list of events to attend with many leads being generated over the four days. This years Premier Feature theme, ‘Innovation for future profit’, very much re iterates the message DAL has been promoting to farmers since it’s inception in 2007, that of using cost effective technology to improve on farm profits.”
This year’s Fieldays will also see the release of DAL’s new design sensors which will provide even better information to their users.
Outgro Bio-Agricultural Limited was formed in 2008 to meet a growing demand for sustainable, profitable biological solutions to improve soil health, pasture quality and stock performance. Based in Dannevirke, Outgro manufacture and apply a range of biological product for the agriculture and horticulture industries throughout the North Island. Outgro’s technical consultants work with farmers to develop a comprehensive farm plan that meets their budget and deliver results dollar for dollar. Outgro’s General Manager Simon Barnes says;
“Outgro Bio-Agricultural Limited is thrilled to be closely involved with this year’s NZ National Fieldays. New Zealand farmers have always been innovators and with their “can-do” attitude tend to lead the world with new farming methods. Outgro shares this philosophy and has developed a system that enables farmers to improve farm profitability and productivity. The opportunity to co-sponsor this year’s event was an obvious choice.”
NZ National Agricultural Fieldays General Manager, Barry Quayle, is proud to have the Premier Feature associated with two exceptional New Zealand owned companies;
“DAL and Outgro personify kiwi innovation by supporting the rural sector productively through their efficient systems and technologies. We are delighted to be involved with these industry leaders.”
New Zealand National Agricultural Fieldays will be held 16 to 19 June, 2010 at Mystery Creek Events Centre, ten minutes south of Hamilton. Fieldays is proudly supported by strategic partners; The National Bank and the University of Waikato.
