Six appliances attend chemical fire

Due to a chemical fire in Seaview Road, Lower Hutt the following roads will be closed.

Wainuiomata Hill Road, Seaview Road closed at Port Road, Access to Seaview from Randwick Road is closed, Waione Street also closed, Bell Road also closed. All traffic should attempt to avoid these areas as delays are inevitable.

Six fire appliances are in attendance along with other specialist equipment.
