There is evidence to suggest that weather modification technology is being used to produce drought conditions in Northland.  While this may sound far-fetched, such technology was being written about forty years ago and evidence indicates that it has been employed elsewhere in the world.  The US Military even used the phrase "Owning The Weather in 2025 " in a report written in 1996  and the technology written about in that report, is being used today.

It is fair to assume that what is being done is being sponsored by our government and if one was looking for a motive, how about to win sympathy for the increasingly unpopular and unjustifiable Emissions Trading Scheme?   I addressed this matter to the Minister of Climate Change Issues and the Environment, the Hon Nick Smith, in a letter which was e-mailed to him and a number of members of Federated Farmers, amongst others, today.

Re: Evidence Weather Modification Technology Is Being Used To Cause Drought In Northland?

A few days ago, heavy rain was expected in Northland, but it came to little. This pattern appears to be being repeated in Northland and in my opinion, there is evidence to indicate that weather modification technology is being used to cause drought conditions, which one can assume is being sponsored at a government level.

For example, the 15th of February, a few days before heavy rain was expected, the sky at Whangarei was sprayed with aerosols, (also known as chemtrails). These are emitted by aircraft.  [See photo above]. Michael Kriz witnessed a plane spraying aerosols in the Bay of Islands on the 26th of January from a plane he stated was not a commercial aircraft. He also stated showers were forecast for the following days, which did not happen. (For more information, go to the link here: http://www.infonews.co.nz/news.cfm?id=47486 ).

Likewise, a reliable source, who does not wish to be named, witnessed a small plane with a large chemtrail behind it in drought-stricken Kaitaia on the 12th of January, 2010. This was described [as] a very long chemtrail, and wide. It was seen from Pukepoto Rd in Kaitaia in the late afternoon. The plane was seen to be flying in roughly in a north-westerly direction.
Rain had been expected that evening, but only a few light spits occurred she said.

Aerosol operations have been found repeatedly to be spraying barium, amongst other substances.

I had the water off my roof tested for barium by Hill Laboratories in Hamilton in the new year and barium was found.

Chemtrails researcher, US-based Clifford Carnicom, who has been researching chemtrails since 1999, stated in his documentary ‘Aerosol Crimes’, that the best information leads to the conclusion that the aerosol spraying operations are frequently conducted in advance of approaching moisture. The salts used in the sprays are locking up the moisture and contributing to widespread drought he said.

In addition, Dr. Bernard J. Eastlund, who invented the HAARP array, which can be used to cause drought conditions, received the first of his three patents for a HAARP-like “Method And Apparatus For Altering A Region In The Earth’s Atmosphere, Ionosphere, And/Or Magnetosphere” (US Patent Number 4,686,605) in 1987. This patent recommends the spraying of barium into the atmosphere to increase the efficacy of HAARP.

According to HAARP experts, Dr Nick Begich and Jeane Manning, from: The Military’s Pandora’s Box:
“HAARP will zap the upper atmosphere with a focused and steerable electromagnetic beam. It is an advanced model of an “ionospheric heater.” (The ionosphere is the electrically-charged sphere surrounding Earth’s upper atmosphere. It ranges between 40 to 60 miles above the surface of the Earth.)

Put simply, the apparatus for HAARP is a reversal of a radio telescope; antenna send out signals instead of receiving.”

It can be used to heat the ionosphere, lift it and change the atmospheric pressure. The technology can be used to effect the amount of rainfall that falls on a particular area.

The use of weather modification technology by governments is evidently not a new idea. It was mentioned forty years ago by National Security Advisor to Jimmy Carter, Zbigniew Brzezinski in his book Between Two Ages, (1970): “… techniques of weather modification could be employed to produce prolonged periods of drought or storm….” p. 57.

Scott Stevens, an award-winning television weatherman, who investigated the claims of a Lt. Col Tom Bearden that North America was being subjected to full time weather modification, discovered that that was the reason for the now global chemtrails phenomena, [1].

If the chemtrail/aerosol operations in Northland are not being used for weather modification purposes and to produce extremes in weather in order to win sympathy for the Emissions Trading Scheme, what are they being used for? Many people will be interested to know, particularly in light of the devastation these aerosols have caused to the environment elsewhere in the world, [eg. 2].
