Horse trainer sought on warrant still in lower North Island

Police are asking members of the public in the lower North Island to report sightings of horse trainer, Aaron Patrick Ellis.

Porirua Police have information that Ellis has recently been in Palmerston North. He is also known to frequent Paraparaumu, Levin and Porirua.

Ellis has a warrant for his arrest for threatening to kill a family member. He has also breached his bail conditions and a Protection Order.

Police say Ellis is considered dangerous and is unpredictable. Members of the public should not approach him.

Ellis is a 36 year old Caucasian, 186cm tall and of medium build. He was living in the Levin area but may be traveling. He is a horse trainer and may visit places such as race courses.

Anyone with sightings or knows the whereabouts of Mr Ellis is urged to contact Police.
