The first BLACKCAPS v Australia ODI at Auckland Eden Park this Saturday is SOLD OUT.

The last tickets for the match were snapped up this afternoon; however tickets are still available for the ODI at Eden Park on Thursday 11 February.

Because of the construction currently being undertaken at the ground, capacity is limited and the venue has quickly filled in both public and corporate facilities.

With the first match sold, New Zealand Cricket is encouraging Auckland cricket fans to act now for the game on the 11th and to pre-purchase their tickets online or at any Ticketek outlet.

The “full house” sign is good news for the BLACKCAPS, according to Aucklander Martin Guptill. “Eden Park is my home ground and it’s always great playing in front of a full crowd. Hopefully we can get that for both one-dayers.”

He’s said Auckland locals who missed out on tickets for the first game will come to the second ODI on March 11. “I’m confident that Auckland fans will get into the atmosphere and give us great support,” he said. “Hopefully we can produce some good performances for them.”

The Hamilton ODI on March 9 is also tracking towards a sell-out, with more than 6,000 tickets already sold for the 10,000 capacity.
