Police hold grave fears for a male, who disappeared while rowing on lake dunstan at 0830hrs this morning.
emergency services including police, the coast guard and a helicopter took part in a search.
the polic dive team are currently travelling to the area.
no further details will be released until the search is completed and then any relese will come from the alexandra police
