Papamoa House of Travel takes top awards

House of Travel Papamoa took out a top award at the company’s annual conference held over the weekend at Sky City in Auckland.

Scooping up the prize for best performing small outlet for 2009, House of Travel Papamoa owner Tanya Aitken says she’s thrilled to receive an award that recognises them as one of the top outlets within the House of Travel group.

“2009 was a challenging year for the travel Industry, in particular for those from regional towns around the country. The support from our local community has been vital in our success for 2009 and we are excited to take this award home to show the locals what their support really means.

Our team are continually looking for great deals for our clients and with the technology innovations from the House of Travel group we believe are at the forefront of the travel industry” Ms Aitken said.

Papamoa continues to be a top performing outlet for the retail chain, being recognised earlier in the day as the top Cruise Outlet in 2009. On top of this all consultants in the team won awards for reaching impressive levels of sales.

The awards dinner was part of the House of Travel Annual Conference which saw over 1000 staff meet at Sky City for a day of inspiring speakers, group discussions and wrapped up with an evening of awards, fine food and celebrating the successes of the group.
