Few titles left after book sale

ONLY a few titles remained after the Feilding Public Library’s 11th annual book sale last week drew a steady stream of buyers and realised nearly $4600.

Library Manager, Simon Johnson, said the few large print books left over were to be distributed among retirement homes.

“It was a highly satisfactory result and enables the library to purchase a wide range of replacement stock,” he said. “The sale also indicates what remains popular or otherwise in certain subject areas and helps as to what to buy in the future.”

About 4000 books were on sale.
