Operation Exe

Late on Saturday 3rd April, Police located a knife that is of interest to the investigation.

Until forensic examination is undertaken we are not ruling at the possibility that other knives of interest exist and still ask people in the Exe and Humber Streets and sea front areas of Oamaru to contact us if they recall or locate anything unusual.

We do not anticipate any further releases for a few days.
